The international hotel chain InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced its entry into Zlatibor, where a new hotel complex will be built under the Crowne Plaza brand. The project was officially launched with the signing of a contract between IHG and the company LUSS Leisure doo.

The conceptual design of the hotel, signed by the INA Projekt office from Kraljevo, envisages 225 rooms, a spa center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as facilities for congresses, fitness and children’s playrooms.

In addition to the hotel, the complex is planned to include 7 residential buildings with a total of about 850 accommodation units, as well as a special building intended for employees.

The future complex will be located at the entrance to Zlatibor 100 m before the roundabout on the right, when coming from the direction of Uzice, and it will have its own separate exit lane from the main road.

The total value of the investment, including the hotel and residential facilities, is estimated at EUR 70 to 80 million, while the hotel itself will cost between EUR 30 and 35 million.

According to information from the municipality of Cajetina, construction is expected to be completed in the next two to two and a half years.
