- When we see blockaders today who are gloating that an investment of 750 million euros has been stopped, it is clear that their only policy is the policy of violence and blockade. While we want Serbia to be built, they want to look at the ruins in the city center for the next 100 years. They are bothered by EXPO, they are bothered by the Belgrade Waterfront, they are bothered by the construction of highways, in other words, they are bothered by any progress of the country. That is their policy - assessed the Finance Minister.
The American newspaper Wall Street Journal previously reported that Kushner withdrew from the investment deal to build residential buildings and a Trump hotel on the site of the General Staff building after the project sparked protests and after an indictment was filed against "a senior Serbian politician".
Yesterday, the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime filed an indictment in the General Staff case against the Minister of Culture Nikola Selakovic, the Secretary of the Ministry of Culture Slavica Jelaca, the Acting Director of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments Goran Vasic and the Acting Director of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the City of Belgrade Aleksandar Ivanovic.
