Construction permit issued for first phase of Eastern Bypass of Krusevac

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued a construction permit to the public company Putevi Srbije for the first phase of the construction of the Eastern Bypass of Krusevac.

– The investor Republic of Serbia - JP Putevi Srbije is permitted to construct the Eastern Bypass of Krusevac, state road IB class no. 38, from the bridge over the Rasina River to the Krusevac East interchange, from km 6+493.00 to km 8+417.38, Phase I - left lane and public lighting - states the decision on the construction permit issued on December 4.

The decision also states that the estimated value of the works is 649.74 million dinars excluding VAT, which is approximately EUR 5.6 million.

Let us remind that the works on the Eastern Bypass began in 2023, but were interrupted due to property-legal relations, and then started again.

For now, according to media reports from October, part of the first section has been completed - from the Krusevac-East interchange to the Latifovic roundabout, and at that time the Odjek portal was told by JP Putevi Srbije that technical acceptance and obtaining a usage permit were underway.

The completion of the first section is necessary for the opening of the Krusevac-East toll station.

The bypass is being built in five stages and its length is a total of eight kilometers from the exit from the Morava Corridor at the Krusevac East interchange to Bruski put.

This bypass should provide traffic relief in Krusevac and a connection to the Morava Corridor.

A few days ago, the Government also determined public interest for the expropriation of land. from Zeleznicka Street to Bivoljski Most.
