German company Liqui Moly invests EUR 3.5 million in new factory in Batocina – Plans to produce fitness products

The German company Liqui Moly, a manufacturer of motor oils, additives for motor vehicles and other products, is a new investor in the municipality of Batocina. Namely, the Municipal Assembly of Batocina recently adopted a decision on business and technical cooperation with this company.

The decision envisages an investment in a production facility in the industrial zone of Zirovnicko polje, measuring 5,500 m2, with an investment value of EUR 3.5 million.

The plan is for this company to produce fitness products.

The decision envisages a number of infrastructure benefits that the municipality provides to the new investor, while the investor is obliged to employ at least 40 workers in the initial phase, 80% of whom will be from the territory of the municipality of Batocina.

– I think this is a big day for our municipality, that after many years, we are bringing such a serious investor to one of the industrial zones, EUR 3.5 million is a big investment even for cities, let alone for a small municipality like Batocina. Our obligations are not small either, and we will all try, together, to ensure that the entire investment is completed within a year, or by September next year, although the decision stipulates that it be by the end of 2027 – said the mayor of Batocina, Dejan Arandjelovic.
