Digital support for the economy - JKT portal enables faster business start-up and easier access to the services market in Montenegro

In Montenegro, the Single Contact Point (JKT) portal was recently launched where entrepreneurs and service providers can now find all information about procedures, regulations and competent institutions required for the initiation or performance of activities in one place.

The JKT portal provides easy access to data on business registration, recognition of qualifications, costs, licenses and regulations valid in Montenegro and within the EU market. This significantly facilitates business operations and accelerates the process of exercising the rights and obligations of service providers.

- JKT is an important step in the process of digital transformation of public administration and contributes to the creation of a more favorable business environment in accordance with European standards. The portal connects state institutions and the economy, making information available, clear and understandable to everyone who wants to start or expand their business - the Ministry of Economic Development said when launching this portal.

The Single Point of Contact portal (JKT) is compliant with EU standards - it meets the obligations of the Services Directive and contributes to the closure of Chapter 3.

The goal of the JKT portal is to provide citizens and businesses with easier access to information and reduce bureaucratic obstacles. Everything that once required many steps is now available with one click.
