Chinese bus and truck manufacturer King Long considering opening factory in Europe – Serbia among potential destinations

One of the world’s largest bus and truck manufacturers, the Chinese company Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., is considering opening a new factory in Europe, as announced by Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic.

Company representatives are currently analyzing several European countries as potential locations for expanding production, and in this context, a meeting was held in China with a delegation from Serbia, including Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic.

King Long is an export-oriented company that places 64% of its production on foreign markets, and sees opening a plant in Europe as the next step in expanding its business.

The company’s management is expected to visit Serbia soon to review investment opportunities.
