Plazma biscuit production begins in Nigeria

Bambi has announced that it has begun production of the Plazma brand in Lagos, Nigeria, marking its first foray into the African market, thanks to a collaboration between Bambi, Coca-Cola HBC Group, Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) and Sona Group, a local biscuit producer and outsourcing partner.

The recipe, packaging and communication campaign for the Plazma brand have been adapted to Nigerian consumers, while production, intended exclusively for the Nigerian market, takes place at the Sona Group factory in Lagos.

Bambi CEO Dragan Stajkovic said that although Plazma had been exported to more than 30 markets around the world for years, that was the first time that Plazma had been produced outside of Serbia.
