Bambi: Increased quantity of smoke, no fire

On the occasion of the news about a new fire at Bambi, which nearly all Belgrade-based, but also regional, media reported dramatically, the company soon notified the public that there had been no fire at Bambi’s plant, and that the photographs in the media are not an adequate representation of facts and in fact date back to June 2024.

– The services in charge have determined that there has been an increased quantity of smoke in the stack itself. Today, at 8.10 AM, smoke was noticed above the production facility B1. When called, within a few minutes, as a preventive safety measure, three firefighting teams and a police patrol arrived, as did fire protection inspectors. The conclusion of the services in charge is that there was an increased quantity of smoke, which stopped in the meantime. There was no flame and no production halts – Bambi states.
