Novi Sad to host international gathering – Hunting, Fishing and Ecology Fair from September 24 to 28

The largest autumn event at the Novi Sad Fair, the International Hunting and Fishing Fair and the Ecology Fair, will gather domestic and foreign exhibitors from September 24 to 28.

– The largest and most important autumn event at the Novi Sad Fair - the International Hunting and Fishing Fair and the Ecology Fair will be held from September 24 to 28 – said Slobodan Cvetkovic, General Director of the Novi Sad Fair, at a press conference.

He emphasized that domestic and foreign exhibitors would be presented at this fair and that visitors would be able to see everything they needed for hunting, fishing and spending time in nature.

– There will also be a lot to learn about hunting, but also ecology and environmental protection – emphasized Cvetkovic.

Exhibitors will present hunting and fishing gear and equipment, sports and camping equipment, and equipment for hunting and fishing tourism.

Those who manage forests in Serbia, manage protected natural resources, and are involved in the improvement of hunting and fishing, as well as representatives of professional associations and scientific and educational institutions, will also be present.

The focus of the Ecology Fair is environmental preservation and returning to nature, and great attention will be paid to raising awareness about primary waste selection.

Among the exhibitors is the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.

According to the Assistant Provincial Secretary Milan Dozet, this year, significant funds have been allocated from the budget for the development of hunting and the equipping of hunting lodges, and this will continue.

The Secretariat for Urban Planning and Environmental Protection will also be presented, and will hold a series of workshops and presentations on environmental protection during the fair, and the program “For Cleaner and Greener Schools” will also be presented.

At the City Environmental Protection Department’s stand, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about ongoing projects, with a focus on wetlands.
