Toyo Tires considering developing research center and expanding capacities in Serbia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the management of Toyo Tires discussed the cooperation up till then and the ways of strengthening the company’s presence in Serbia. As Vucic pointed out on his Instagram account, Toyo Tires has invested a lot of effort in joint projects, not just in the form of capital and jobs, but also knowledge, courage and special dedication.

– By investing in their factory in Indjija, the first Toyo manufacture in Europe, they showed a trust in our country. We also talked about the development of a research and development center and potential expansion of capacities, so as to jointly respond to the demand in the European market and especially the American one, despite the challenges posed by the new trade barriers – the Serbian president added and noted that, toward the end of his visit to Japan, he had presented the investment potential of Serbia.

Vucic emphasized that, at that moment, there were more than 30 Japanese companies operating in Serbia in the automotive, electronics and manufacturing industries.
