Japanese Toyo Tires planning construction of science and technology development center in Serbia

During the visit to the Japanese factory Toyo Tires in Indjija, the president of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojkovic, announced plans for the construction of a science and technology development center which would connect the factory with universities.

She added that the details of the project would be discussed during the upcoming visit of a delegation of the Provincial Government to the company’s headquarters in Japan.

The Toyo Tires factory currently employs 671 workers and is planning a production of 3.2 million tires this year, mostly to be exported to the US market.

Kompleks se nalazi na parceli od gotovo 64 ha, a predviđena je proizvodnja 5 miliona pneumatika godišnje.

Projektovani broj parking mesta za putnička vozila je 356. Zelene površine čine 65% površine parcele.
U blizini ulaza predviđeni su mali bazeni, svojevrsna vodena ogledala, sa drvenim detaljima i zelenilom.

Već u prvoj fazi je zaposleno preko 500 radnika.
