The Securities Commission of North Macedonia has issued a decision approving ALTA Banka AD Belgrade to make a takeover bid for Stopanska Banka AD Bitola.

The offer includes 371,538 ordinary shares with voting rights issued by Stopanska Banka, and together with 19,439 shares already owned by ALTA Banka and related parties, it represents 100% of the bank’s share capital.

The takeover will be carried out at a price of 3,777 denars, or slightly less than 7,200 dinars per share.

As specified in the documentation, the offer will be considered successful if it is accepted by shareholders who own at least 273,795 shares, which makes up 70.03% of the total number of shares with voting rights.

Let us remind that, in May, Stopanska banka AD Bitola announced that it had received official notification from the company Alta Grup doo, headquartered in Belgrade, about its intention to offer to take over up to 100% of ordinary voting shares issued by the bank.
