Srbija Kargo company opens tender for repair and maintenance of Siemens Vectron locomotives

Srbija Kargo a.d. Belgrade has announced a public procurement for the repair and maintenance of Siemens Vectron locomotives series 193, with an estimated value of 39.44 million dinars. The procedure will be conducted as an open procedure, and the subject of the procurement is the overhaul of axle assemblies.

The procurement includes the overhaul of 40 axles. The technical specifications state that during the overhaul, operations such as taking over the axles from the warehouse in Makis, inspection and defect detection in the presence of the customer’s experts, sandblasting, dismantling and assembly of axle bearings and housings, pressing in new wheels with brake discs provided by the customer, as well as ultrasonic testing of the axles, are mandatory.

The service performance deadline for a set of four axle assemblies is 30 days from the date of takeover, while the warranty period for the performed work is 12 months from the date of installation. The spare parts to be installed must be original and in accordance with the technical documentation of the locomotive manufacturer.
