Vucic: Presentation this Sunday, implementation from September 1 – “Incredible measures for the people”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that there would be, as Trump would say, “a very beautiful and good law,” talking about the economic measures that he would present during the upcoming weekend.

Namely, the president of Serbia announced today that on Sunday, August 24, new measures to help citizens would be presented and that their implementation would begin on September 1.

– Get ready for Sunday, there will be top measures. Now I will give you just one example. Follow me on Sunday, I will have a presentation of the measures. These are perhaps the best measures for ordinary people, for all our people, for all our citizens. And the implementation will start from September 1. From prices to everything else, that’s what you will see – said Vucic during a visit to the renovated SNS premises in Palilula, which had been demolished by blockaders on Monday.

He pointed out that interest rates on cash, consumer loans for people who are not rich would also be incomparably more acceptable and that they would be incomparably easier to obtain. Vucic said that citizens would be able to obtain loans at the lowest possible interest rates because interest rates would be lowered by 30 to 40 percent.

– I think that our bank, Postanska stedionica, will have the lowest interest rate, but all the others will have to have a much lower one. And when you imagine taking out a dinar loan, which is now almost 11 percent, imagine lowering the interest rate by 30 or 40 percent. That is an incredible success, incredible things – said Vucic.

He pointed out that he was looking forward to Sunday and the presentation of the measures because, according to him, they would be incredible for the people.

– Miraculous, the Russians would say, great beauty, it will be truly great beauty, miraculous, good. And I think that the people will be extremely satisfied. You’ll see, there’s no more fraud there. Well, he raised my price, then he lowered it and so on. No, no. Now we have prices that are taken from suppliers and a margin limit. You can raise the price to 500, but then go on and pay 300 and 400 to the supplier if you dare. And he wants to pay 30 and 40. He can’t mess with that anymore. So, we’re going to do a lot of good for the people, a lot of good for the people and I’m really looking forward to that – Vucic stated.
