The commission is supposed to provide expert support to state institutions, primarily in estimating whether Serbia needs a nuclear power plant (if it opts for the implementation of nuclear energy for peacetime purposes), what the domestic nuclear program would look like, and finally, in the implementation, RTS reports.
The commission consists of 23 members, and it consists of experts from various fields.
The director of the Vinca Institute, Slavko Dimovic, said that the most important thing was to analyze the current state of the human resources and announced that, in November, for the first time, a “nuclear conference”, open to public, would be organized.
