New Minimum Wage Set at RSD 337 per Hour as of October 1

The minimum hourly wage in Serbia will be increased to RSD 337 net as of October 1, according to a decision by the Socio-Economic Council published in the Official Gazette.


The Socio-Economic Council (SEC) adopted the decision during its session held on July 15.

At present, the minimum wage in Serbia is calculated based on an hourly rate of RSD 308.

As the SEC highlighted in mid-July, the new minimum wage represents a 9.4% increase and will amount to over EUR 500 per month.

Milica Djurđevic Stamenkovski, Minister of Labour and Chair of the SEC, noted at the time that the extraordinary wage increase was adopted unanimously and reflects the outcome of constructive social dialogue in Serbia.
