Contract signed on financing design and technical documentation for construction and reconstruction of Special Rehabilitation Hospital Banja Kanjiza

Provincial Secretary for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government Aleksandar Sofic and Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Kanjiza Nebojsa Rakic today signed a contract on financing the preparation of the design and technical documentation for the construction and reconstruction of the Special Rehabilitation Hospital Banja Kanjiza.

The project includes the improvement of health infrastructure and the quality of services through the modernization of existing facilities, as well as the renovation of thermal and therapeutic capacities.

At a meeting held at the Provincial Government, it was emphasized that the implementation of the project would contribute to the extension of the life of the facilities, the reduction of operating costs, as well as a significant improvement in conditions for patients and hospital employees.

It is also expected that the modernization of Banja Kanjiza will stimulate the further development of health tourism in the region.
