EPS looking for additional coal in Kolubara basin – Another 25 exploration boreholes in Field E

Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), the Mining Basin Kolubara branch, has opened the tender for exploratory boring for the needs of geological exploration of the coal deposit Open-Pit Mine Field E.

According to the technical specification of the job, which has been estimated at around RSD 84 million, 25 boreholes are planned, whose depths range roughly from 100-200 m (13 boreholes), 200-300 m (six boreholes) to 300-330 m (six boreholes), of a total length of 5,700 m2.

The tender encompasses the installation of piezometric structures in the locations of 11 previous boreholes.
