This is a form of long-term government borrowing, which offers investors, such as banks, funds and other financial institutions, the opportunity to borrow funds from the Republic of Serbia by purchasing government bonds, with regular interest payments and repayment of principal at the end of the term.
The first bond issue amounts to EUR 250 million. The nominal value of one bond is EUR 1,000, and they mature on July 29, 2037. The coupon rate is 5% per annum, and interest payments are scheduled to be made every year on the same date, starting in 2026. The issue will be realized on July 25, 2025.
The second issue is worth 35 billion dinars, with a nominal value of 10,000 dinars per bond. These securities mature on July 30, 2030, and the annual coupon rate is 4.5%. Interest payment is scheduled for each year on the same date, from 2026 to 2030. The issue will be realized on July 28, 2025.
Bonds of both issues will be issued in dematerialized form, will be registered, and will be registered in the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House AD Belgrade. If the maturity or interest payment date falls on a non-business day, the payment will be made on the first following business day.
