Sebre and Strabag to commence construction of the Marina Dorcol business-residential complex in Belgrade - EUR 390 million investment

The Czech company Sebre, as an investor, and the Austrian company Strabag, as a contractor, signed a contract today for the construction of the initial phase of the Marina Dorcol business-residential complex in Belgrade, and the total value of the project is estimated at around EUR 390 million. Completion of the first phase is scheduled for Q3 2028, according to the statement issued after the contract signing at the Czech Embassy.

The first phase of the project includes the construction of 263 residential units, 430 parking spaces for tenants, business premises with an area of ​​5,000 square meters and an additional 100 parking spaces for external visitors.

The citizens will have direct access to the water through the Marina pool.

- This complex is not just a new point on the map of Belgrade, but represents a vision of the future - a combination of urban life, innovative architecture and sustainable construction. In everything we do, we are guided by a sustainable approach, responsible use of resources in reducing the negative impact on the environment - said the director of Strabag Vojin Zajic.

The director of the company Sebre, Tomas Klima, assessed that the Marina Dorcol project, which redefines life by the river, is open, modern and deeply rooted in the historical identity of Belgrade.

- The partnership with the renowned Austrian company Strabag confirms that this vision will be translated into a construction project of the highest quality. As a European company based in Prague, we want to bring the highest standards of green and sustainable construction that exist in the EU to Belgrade - said Klima.

The signing was also attended by Czech ambassador to Serbia Jan Bondi and Austrian ambassador to Serbia Christian Ebner.

- This is one of the largest investments and joint ventures of EU companies in Belgrade. We believe that this cooperation will open a new chapter in Belgrade's urban development, which combines history and future, private space and public interest, as well as local values ​​with European standards - said Ambassador Bondi.

As mentioned, the company Sebre is an investment real-estate company focused on architecturally exceptional projects with high added value. Sebre is also an investor in the Residence Puskinova project in Belgrade.

Strabag is a construction company which operates in over 80 countries, and is known for many luxurious and complex projects, such as the Regent Porto Montenegro complex in Tivat, the Airport Office Park 4 business complex at the airport in Vienna, infrastructure projects on Corridor 10, etc.
