The planned life cycle is 25 years, and with a total installed capacity of 168 MW, the wind farm Alibunar will produce around 480 million kWh of electrical energy a year. After being connected to the network, the project will secure a considerable quantity of clean energy for Serbia, contributing to the optimization of the local energy structure and a reduced reliance on fossil fuels.
The company says that this is their first investment in Serbia and that it has strategic importance because it is an important turning point in the global strategy of the company to develop clean energy where it is the most needed. – The wind farm Alibunar is of great importance for us, because it marks out entrance to the wider European market. We will actively cooperate with local partners and apply advanced wind energy technologies in order to help Serbia achieve the energy transition and sustainable development goals – said Zhou Fugui, the company’s president.
The announcement also reminds that, recently, the agreement on the buyout of electrical energy and the taking on of balance responsibility was signed with Elektroprivreda Srbije.
