Industrial production in Serbia in April higher by 2.3% compared to same month in 2024

Industrial production in the Republic of Serbia, in April 2025 was higher by 2.3% compared to the same month in 2024, and compared to the 2024 average was by 0.5% lower, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Industrial production in the period January–April 2025 relative to the same period 2024 increased by 2.1%. Observed by sections, in April 2025, compared to April 2024, industrial production in the Manufacturing section increased by 2.9%.

In the Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply section, production in April 2024 stayed at the same level compared to April 2024. Mining and quarrying section decreased by 0.5%.

The scope of industrial production in April 2025, compared to April 2024, was bigger in 13 fields, which comprise 48% of industrial production, and a drop was recorded in 16 fields, which comprise 52% of industrial production.
