Turkey's Fortis Energy installing 20 wind turbines at 144 MW Juhor wind farm

Each of the 20 wind turbines planned will have a capacity of about 7.2 MW.
The company announced that the project is currently in the phase of making detailed regulation plans.

Fortis Energy adds that the Juhor hydropower plant will contribute to energy security and support the green transition in South-Eastern Europe.
- It is expected that the wind farm will produce more than 425 million kWh of electricity annually, supplying approximately 200,000 households with renewable energy. This project will reduce the emission of carbon dioxide by about 300 million kg per year compared to electricity production from fossil fuels - the Turkish company stated.
Let us recall, last summer, Fortis Energy received preliminary permits to connect three wind farms to the grid in Serbia with a total capacity of 509.4 MW. The projects, including the Juhor hydropower plant, are worth EUR 550 million, and the remaining two are the Vranje wind park of 171 MW and the Gornjak wind park of 194.4 MW.
Last year, the Turkish company bought a 180 MW solar project with battery energy storage system in Sremska Mitrovica.
The company then stated that it is expected that it will be one of the largest solar power stations and energy storage system in Southeast Europe.
At the beginning of the year, Fortis Energy expressed its willingness to invest in capital projects in the field of renewable energy in the area of Bujanovac.
