"Konstantin the Great" airport in Nis recorded in March the highest number of passengers since the beginning of the year, i.e. 23,834 passengers, but that number of passengers is 12.7 percent lower than at the same time in 2024, the company Airports of Serbia announced today.

During January of this year, the airport in Nis was the destination for 21,104 passengers, and in February it had 18,415 passengers.

Since the beginning of the year, the company Airports of Serbia has neither published information about passengers on the official website of Nis Airport, nor the number of take-offs and landings, as well as cargo transportation at that airport. The last published data are for December last year. Also, data for 2023 and 2024 have not been removed from the official website, so it can be seen from them that the number of passengers at the airport in Niš has continued to decline.

In March of last year, "Konstantin the Great" airport was the destination for 27,303 passengers, while in 2023 it had 30,595 passengers in the same month.

The company's press release states that during the summer, flights to 16 destinations will be available to passengers in Niš. Passengers will be able to fly with regular lines to Vienna, Basel, Memmingen, Ljubljana, Cologne, Frankfurt Hahn, Malta, Istanbul, Belgrade, Athens, Corfu, Tivat, Zurich and Stockholm, and charter flights of travel agencies to Monastir in Tunisia and Antalya in Turkey will also be available to them.
