Tender announced for the technical control of the construction project of the "Y-section" near Subotica

The PUC Corridors of Serbia have announced a public procurement for the technical control of project documentation for the implementation of the E75 motorway project, in particular, the section border crossing Kelebija- loop Subotica-south (the so-called "Y-section"). The estimated value of procurement is RSD 18 million.

This section, around 24 km long, connects the border crossing of the Kelebija with the Horgos-Novi Sad highway and it is of exceptional infrastructural, traffic and economic importance, both for the city of Subotica and for the entire Republic of Serbia. So far, only the left side of the highway on this section was built, from Kelebija border cross to the loop Subotica-south.

Public procurement includes technical control of project documentation: project compartments, project for conducting, preliminary design for temporary deviation, as well as other technical materials needed for project implementation.

The construction project for this section is acknowledged as an infrastructure project of special importance for the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with the Law on Special Procedures for the implementation of construction and reconstruction of line infrastructure facilities.

Technical control will include the evaluation of documentation during and after its development, in accordance with applicable laws and technical specifications defined in the competition documentation. After completing the control process, a final report will be created, which will confirm the alignment of documentation with the regulations.

The deadline for the tender is 15. April.

The contract for the development of project-technical documentation for this section was signed in late 2024, with the consortium, consisting of of Project Bureau Utiber Novi Sad, the Institute of Road Investment Budapest, entrepreneur Slavisa Ilic SDC Proffesional and UT test from Budapest. That job is worth slightly below RSD 95 million.
