Industrial Zone North in Vrsac project of special importance for Serbia – To be operational from next year

The Government of Serbia has adopted the decision by which it is determined that the project of the construction of the line infrastructure of the Industrial Zone North in Vrsac is a project of special importance for Serbia, whereby the conditions have met for the securing of the funds for the completion of this project.

The Industrial Zone North is the first investment in the City of Vrsac to ever be pronounced a project of special importance for Serbia, it is said on the website of the city.

The mayor of Vrsac, Dragana Mitrovic, signed at the Ministry of Economy, with the competent minister, Adrijana Mesarovic, the Agreement on the financing of the project of the construction of the line infrastructure which will be in the function of the Industrial Zone North in Vrsac in a total amount of RSD 61,893,455.64. The designated funds will be immediately transferred to the City of Vrsac and then spent on the construction of electrical energy infrastructure, as well as traffic connection to the IB-grade state road no. 18, whereby this business zone will be fully equipped and ready to welcome its first investors, it is added.

The existing business zone Technological Park, which is located in the southwest part of the city, is nearly filled-out in terms of capacity and space, so in the past period, the Industrial Zone North has been formed with a purpose, and it will create the opportunity for bringing new investors and expanding business activities in the territory of the City of Vrsac and the surrounding municipalities.
