In the same issue of the Official Gazette, the ban on the import of wood pellets is put out of effect too.
In March 2024, the decision on a temporary ban on refined sunflower oil and margarine was adopted, and last year, the decision on a temporary ban of the import of wood pellets was renewed on several occasions, most recently in December.
As it was announced at the time, the restriction of the import of those agricultural and food products (edible oil and margarine) would be in effect for nine months, in the quantity of the average import in the previous four years.
The decision was made, as announced at the time, in order to protect domestic production.
