The Government of Serbia, at its session held on Thursday, adopted a new regulation that administratively sets the highest retail prices of fuel for a period of six months, N1 reported.
The method of determining prices remains the same as before, and gas stations can increase the established average wholesale prices of Euro diesel and Euro premium BMB 95 gasoline by 16 dinars, as has been the case so far.
The price of diesel fuel for farmers also remains limited, at 179 dinars, which is the price that is also in effect under the existing regulation.
– The Oil Industry of Serbia will, at its stations for supplying vehicles, using cards issued to registered agricultural farms, put into circulation the Euro Diesel derivative at a maximum retail price of 179 dinars per liter, by filling it into the fuel tanks of agricultural machinery and containers for transporting petroleum derivatives in a maximum quantity of up to 100 liters per hectare, for areas registered in the Register of Agricultural Farms on the date of the coming into force of this regulation and sown, or planted areas of arable agricultural land with appropriate crops up to the quantities required for processing, and up to a maximum of 100 hectares – the regulation states.
Other business entities that carry out the activity of selling motor and other fuels at stations for supplying vehicles may, as stated, “using cards issued to registered agricultural farms, put into circulation the Euro diesel derivative at a maximum retail price of 179 dinars per liter, by filling it into the fuel tanks of agricultural machinery and containers for transporting oil derivatives in a maximum quantity of up to 100 liters per hectare, for areas registered in the Register of Agricultural Farms on the date of the coming into force of this regulation and sown, or planted areas of arable agricultural land with appropriate crops up to the quantities required for processing, and up to a maximum of 100 hectares.”
