Construction of new factory of Austrian company Feller in Subotica begins – Employment of up to 150 workers planned

In the Mali Bajmok Industrial Zone in Subotica, the foundation stone for the construction of the first phase of the new factory of the Austrian company Feller doo, which produces and distributes charging cables and currently employs 50 workers, has been laid down.

The works on the first phase are expected to be completed at the end of March 2025, and after moving the production activities to the new production facility which will operate within the Free Zone Subotica, another two phases of works are planned, that is, the construction of two additional halls, as well as the employment of 100 to 150 workers in the next two years, as announced on the website of the City of Subotica.

– Investors and new projects, as you know, are very important, but the most important thing is for all citizens of Subotica to feel that their quality of life has improved. Investments such as these, let me remind you, are also very important for the city budget, and it is also likely that they will contribute to an even quicker development of our city, because each new investment opens new perspectives, creating a new business energy – pointed out the deputy mayor of Subotica, Srdjan Samardzic.

The foundation stone was laid down by the owner of the company, Barbara Ascher, her son Vincent and the director of Feller in Serbia, Nebojsa Milosevic.

The contractor is SMB Gradnja, from Subotica.
