Sapic announces construction of roundabout and Belgrade Clock on Republic Square – Price upon completion of works

In January next year, the construction of a roundabout and the Belgrade Clock, which will be placed in the center of the future roundabout, will begin on the Republic Square, announced the mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Sapic.

Sapic added that the projects should be completed by the end of February and pointed out that he couldn’t tell what their price would be before the works were completed but that they “will not be expensive”, because, according to him, the current situation will be used to the maximum and the biggest changes will be made to the traffic solutions.

– I believe that these will become new symbols of Belgrade. As for the clock, the estimate is that it will cost around RSD 15 million – said Sapic.
