Petrasin Jakovljevic, director general of the Gornji Milanovac-based manufacturer of dishes and water heaters Metalac, told Akter weekly magazine that that company was not going to suffer big losses because of the embargo on the delivery of goods to the market of Kosovo since the value of its exports to that market ranged between 0.8 and 1 million euros.
He added that Metalac had achieved relatively successful results in the first half of the year, registering a few percent higher sales than in the same period in 2010. He also noted that the second half of the year was traditionally better so that good business results were expected at the year's end.Jakovljevic mentioned again the earlier presented plan of Metalac to increase the exports by 7 to 8 percent thanks to the markets in which that company was already positioned, as well as to the new ones entered in the meantime.
