EPS Seeking Company for Unloading of Coal from Barges and Rail Cars to Coal Disposal Site of TENT B – Tender Worth RSD 678.8 Million

Elektroprivreda Srbije has opened the public procurement procedure for the unloading of coal from barges and rail cars to the coal disposal site of the Thermal Power Plant Nikola Tesla B (TENT B), and the value of the job has been estimated at RSD 678.8 million.

The procurement procedure envisages the service of unloading 720,000 tons of coal from barges and 200,000 tons of coal from rail cars, as well as truck transport to the coal disposal site of TENT B.

The coal from the barges should first be unloaded to the flat area of the temporary terminal of TENT B on the Sava (62 km), then loaded onto the trucks, transported from the terminal to the coal disposal site of TENT B and unloaded. The provider of the services is obliged to unload a minimum of 4,000 tons of coal from the barges each day, unless a smaller quantity of coal is delivered by barges in one day.

The unloading from the rail cars of the open type from the Eas and Eanos series needs to be done on the flat area next to the rail track E5 in the TENT B location. The daily quantity of coal for reloading, transport and unloading at the disposal site is around 2,000 tons.
