Government of Serbia Gives Approval for Founding of Company Srbgas KFT in Budapest

The Government of Serbia has given prior approval for the founding of the company SRBGAS KFT, Budapest. Previously, as said, the decision on the founding of that company, was adopted by the Supervisory Board of the Public Enterprise Srbijagas in September this year.

– Prior approval is given for the founding of the company SRBGAS KFT, Budapest, in accordance with the decision adopted by the Supervisory Board of the Public Enterprise “Srbijagas”, Belgrade, at the session held on September 22, 2023 – says the decision published in the Official Gazette.

Also, the Government adopted the decision on giving prior approval for the Decision on investing capital in Serbhungas doo Novi Sad. This is the company that was jointly founded by the PE Srbijagas and the Hungarian company MVM CEEnergy. The agreement on the founding of the joint company for the trading of gas in Serbia and the region – Serbhungas envisages a share of Srbijagas of 49%, whereas the majority owner, with 51%, is the Hungarian energy company MVM.
