Congress Center on Zlatibor to Have Plenary Hall for 1,000 People, Rooms for Rest and Exhibition Space – Tender for Planners Published

The Tourism Organization of Zlatibor has opened the public procurement procedure for the services of the preparation of the project of the Congress Center on that mountain.

According to the tendering documentation, the plan is for the future Congress Center to be able to accommodate 1,000 people, as well as to contain: a lobby, a plenary hall, rooms for rest and an exhibition space.

As said, it is necessary to “create an impressive and spacious entrance space serving as the focal point of the Congress Center.”

The big auditorium or plenary hall needs to have a capacity of 1,000 people and feature state-of-the-art audio-visual systems, including big screens, PA and stage lighting.

Several smaller rooms for rest or spaces for meetings should be able to take in groups of various sizes and purposes.

– These rooms can be used for parallel sessions, workshops, panel discussions and smaller gatherings. Each room is equipped with audio-visual possibilities and a comfortable seating order – the documentation says.

It is also recommended for the entrance from the square to be canopied, so that 100-200 people can stand inside the covered area, and for the congress hall to be located on the first upper floor due to the limitations regarding the available space. The ground floor area should be used for the foyer, the exhibition space, the service space – catering, the side spaces – wardrobes and toilets and the equipment depot.

In front of the entrance, a square should be designed, connecting the surrounding features and the Congress Center.

The selected planners will be given 180 days for the preparation of the project. The selected bidder should also prepare the necessary project-technical documentation for the issuing of location requirements, the building permit and the exploitation permit.

As announced earlier, the Congress Center will be built close to the building of the Cultural Center of Zlatibor.
