– Based on the signed Agreement on the sales and purchase and transfer of the 100% ownership stake in the company Trion Tel d.o.o. Banja Luka, the entry of the change of the ownership stake of the company Trion Tel d.o.o. Banja Luka has been made in the company register, whereby M:tel Banjaluka has become the owner of the 100% ownership stake in the company Trion Tel d.o.o. Banja Luka – the announcement says.
Trion Tel d.o.o. was founded in 2015 and, according to the company website, is one of the youngest providers of the internet service in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The majority owner of M:tel is Telekom Srbija with a 65% ownership stake, according to M:tel’s website.
“Javno osnovno državno preduzeće za telekomunikacije Republike Srpske, Banja Luka” was registered on December 20, 1996, and until December 12, 2002, it operated as a fully state-owned company, when the ownership transformation into a joint-stock company was carried out and the name was changed to “Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske, a.d. Banja Luka”.
In addition to its full name, Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske, a.d. Banja Luka also operates under two shortened company names: Telekom Srpske a.d. Banja Luka and Mtel a.d. Banja Luka.
