Telekom Srbija to Buy North Macedonian NEOTEL

Telekom Srbija Group, through its company MTEL, has completed the negotiations about the purchase of the North Macedonian operator Neotel, as reported this March by the North Macedonian portal Faktor.mk.

These two operators have been waiting for several months now for an approval of all the competent regulators and commissions, with the final intention of having Telekom, that is, MTEL, fully take over all the infrastructure, users, rights and obligations of the operator Neotel.

According to the latest findings, which are reported by the TeleSrbija portal, the approvals and authorizations are expected to be finalized by September 2023.

Let us remind that Telekom Srbija entered the market of North Macedonia in the autumn of 2021, first with mSAT TV packages, and then later with mobile services as well.
