Loan of EUR 13 Million for Reconstruction of Water Treatment Facility Jezero and Construction of Three New Water Treatment Facilities in Makis

In order for the city to get the optimal water supply in the coming period, but also in order for the Serbian legal frameworks when it comes to disposing of waste waters to be met, the PUE Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija is launching the project of the reconstruction of the production facility for the treatment of water Jezero and the construction of three new facilities for the treatment of technological waste waters from the Makis facility and the processing of sludge. For this job, this company will take out a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the amount of EUR 13 million, with a repayment period of 8 years. The estimated value of the whole investment is EUR 15.5 million, and of that sum, the grants make up around EUR 3 million.
