Bajatovic: Price of Gas to Increase up to 10% from May 1

The price of gas will increase around 10% following the end of the heating season, that is, from May 1. That is the estimate of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, the director of this company, told the press.

– At the moment, Srbijagas charges, on average, USD 393 for 1,000 cubic meters. If we took into consideration how much it cost us to buy and store the gas, it should cost USD 727. At the moment, the futures are at USD 560 and we expect a disturbance in the market. We will finish the heating season. Whether there will be further price increase depends on the price trends in the market and the price at which we will buy the gas – Bajatovic said.
