Serbia Exporting to Germany the Most – Total Amount EUR 2.7 Billion This Year

The exports of Serbia in the period between January and September this year were worth around EUR 20 billion (19.9), as shown by the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Germany is first on the list, as Serbia exported goods worth EUR 2.7 billion to this country, which is also Serbia’s biggest external trade partner, with a total goods trade of EUR 6 billion in the first nine months of 2022.

Second on the list is Italy, and the export of goods to this country was worth over EUR 1.5 billion.

It is followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina with nearly EUR 1.5 billion, whereas the fourth place features the neighboring Hungary, to which we exported goods worth EUR 1.019 billion.

The list further features countries the export to which was worth less than a billion euros.

Romania is fifth with EUR 890.4 million, and China sixth with EUR 860.9 million.

In the past period, we exported products worth EUR 770.5 million to Russia.

The eighth, ninth and tenth places feature three former Yugoslav states, Montenegro, Croatia and North Macedonia.

We exported products worth EUR 764.1 million to Montenegro, EUR 718.3 million to Croatia, and EUR 697.4 million, reports the nova.rs website.

According to the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the biggest share in Serbia’s exports belongs to the Vojvodina Region (34.4%), followed by the Belgrade Region (23.3%), the Sumadija and Western Serbia Region (21.5%), the Southern and Eastern Serbia Region (20.7%), and around 0.1% is not distributed by territory.
