Serbia Records Increase of Imports and Exports in February Compared to Same Month Last Year

The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January-February 2023 amounted to EUR 10472.8 million, which was an increase of 8.7% compared to the same period last year.

The value of exports amounted to EUR 4530.9 million, which was 17.91% increase, compared to the same period last year. The value of imports amounted to EUR 5941.9 million, which was 2.7% increase when compared to the same period last year.

The deficit amounted to EUR 1411.0 million, which was a decrease of 27.4% compared to the same period last year.

The export-import ratio equaled 76.2% and was higher if compared to the same period last year when it was 66.4%, according to the website of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
