"Metro Cash & Carry" Starts the Cooperation with Serbian Garment Manufacturers - an Opportunity for Export to 29 Countries

The wholesale company "Metro Cash & Carry" has expanded cooperation with Serbian companies in the field of private brands in the garment field, providing an export opportunity to the domestic industry of clothing.

In cooperation with company "Metro Cash & Carry", Belgrade-based "Er.Co.Knit" started the production of men's sweaters under the name "Metro" brand "Tailor & Son", while the company "BMD Socks", also in Belgrade, started manufacturing men's socks under the name "Metro" brand "Authentic". Both products are already on sale in Metro's wholesale facilities in Serbia.

The ability to produce own brand exported through the chain of Metro's distribution centers worldwide, the company "Er.Co.Knit" will produce sweaters of the trademarks "Tailor & Son" for the Croatian market, for which was agreed to start export quantities of 1,350 pieces of this product and negotiate on export to Bulgaria.

The company currently works with about 60 Serbian companies, which produce 464 products, "Metro" private brands, of which 90, including frozen fruit, olives and sweets, exported to Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine.
