Kopaonik Business Forum Begins – In the Sign of Sustainable Development Until March 9

The 29th Kopaonik Business Forum has begun. Until March 9, it will gather 1,000 participants, and the central topic will be “Serbia 2030: Sustainable Development Agenda”.

During the four days, three plenary sessions will be held, as well as 33 panels, where around 200 participants will speak.

As the representatives of the organizer, the Serbian Association of Economists, pointed out, the participants will try to give their answers to the most important economic and social challenges that Serbia is facing and where they see Serbia in 2030.

They point out that the Kopaonik Business Forum is a platform for well-argued, constructive discussions and a critical analysis of everything that has been done so far, as well as the defining of a sustainable economic policy.

Those interested will have the opportunity to hear opinions of the leading local analysts regarding the projections of economic activities and the results of the economic policy in Serbia in 2021.

Digitization, the IT sector, startups, the reach of the macroeconomic policy in Serbia and a sustainable health system will also be discussed, and the presentation of the Index of the Reputation of Serbian Industry has been announced as well.

Other topics include the future of Europe, ecologically sustainable construction, the energy policy in Serbia, infrastructural investments, cashless payments, green transition, agriculture, regional cooperation, reform of the tax administration, education and an analysis of the conditions of doing business in Serbia from the investors’ angle.
