Companies from Poland and Spain plan on building two 300 and 90 MW wind farms in Lovcenac and Feketic

(Illustration) The municipality of Mali Idjos has put two detailed regulation plans regarding construction of the Lovcenac and Feketic wind farms in the namesake cadastral municipalities, on early public inspection.
The plans were made by Projektura doo from Belgrade.
The investor of the first of the wind farms, in Lovcenac area, is the company WPP West Wind doo Belgrade, owned by the Polish company V-Ridium Wind.
The plan covers an area of about 5,720 ha, part of the cadastral municipalities of Lovcenac, Feketic and Mali Idjos, which extend mostly eastward of the Belgrade-Subotica highway, toward the border with the municipalities of Becej, Srbobran and Backa Topola.
The plan calls for a construction of a wind farm with a capacity of about 300 MW, and about 50 locations for wind turbines.
The land planned for construction is mostly privately owned agricultural land, interconnected by a network of village roads.
The plan notes that due to the proximity of the towns of Mali Idjos, Lovcenac and Feketic, certain restrictions will be imposed, which will be defined after analyzes through modeling of noise dispersion and shadow flicker, as well as analysis of visual impact on the silhouette of the nearby settlements.
Within the area, the substation "Lovcenac" is also planned, together with an adjacent distribution plant, through which the planned 400 kV transmission line of a wind power plant will be connected and the the electricity produced will be delivered to the EMS transmission system. The second wind farm will be built in the area of Feketic, by the investor Ecoener Wind Power plant doo Belgrade, backed by the Spanish Grupo Ecoener.
The Feketic wind farm, with a total capacity of about 90 MW and 21 wind turbines, is planned on an area of roughly 2,100 ha, south of Feketic.
The land is also mostly agricultural, in private ownership with the network of village roads, and a substation is planned within the area, together with an adjacent distribution plant for connecting the planned 110 kV transmission line.
