Unnamed German Investor to Come to Vranje?

The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has announced that a German company is coming to Vranje in February and said that “it is much better and more solid than Geox and it will employ around 1,000 workers”.

Vucic said that it was a big event for Vranje, the Pcinja District and the south of Serbia.

– I am so happy over this, because we had a lot of problems with Geox. It’s not fair what they did. You shouldn’t do things that way, because it leaves a bad impression about all investors, even from that country – Vucic said in the year-end interview on TV K1.

He said that he got a letter that morning (December 31) from his economy adviser, Jorg Heskens, and that new German companies were showing a great interest in Serbia.
