According to the Law on the Amendments to the Law on Electronic Invoicing, the obligation of the implementation of electronic invoicing for the public sector subjects for which the obligation was envisaged for January 1, 2022, is moved to May 1, 2022.

This means that the public sector subjects will have the obligation of receiving and issuing e-invoices from May 1, 2022, and that the private sector subjects which are in the VAT system will have the obligation of issuing e-invoices to public sector subjects also from May 1, 2022.
