From Indjija to the world class cars - " IGB Automotive " invests around EUR 3 million in a production hall

" Bauerhin " is going to invest between 2.5 and 3 million USD in construction of its own production facilities.

The company, which manufactures heaters for seats and steering wheels , seat belt sensors for binding , electrical control units and systems for ventilation of seats , has been doing its business in a rented hall, of the former garment " Intex ", since September 2007.

According to the interview given to " eKapija ", General Director of IGB Automotive , Nebojsa Dragicevic , the Management will decide in the next few days whether to buy the hall in which it already operates , and to repair it and upgrade it, or to build a new hall at a different location.

One thing is for sure - the company remains in Indjija .

- It is important to note that the company has no desire to change the location of its business, and to move from Indjija . Our employees are the biggest reason for that , because we do not want to leave many people without jobs . One of the greatest strengths of this company are the people, and because of that the management puts the staff in the first place in all the thinking - said Dragicevic .

Since its establishment, the company employed 300 workers, and in the next three years plans to hire as much.

Given the fact that the labor market does not have specifically qualified workers to work in their factory , all the new staff undergos training and education . More than 90 % of employees are women, and the Director of the company says it is not astonishing fact , since research shows that women are more precise at the job and have greater observation power.

The opportunity to work for " IGB Automotive , " will be given to those with primary and secondary schools, but also to highly educated staff.

For now, all raw materials are imported from Germany , but it is in plan to cooperate with local suppliers, as some of them meet the quality standards that the company claims.

The total production portfolio, the company " IGB Automotive " exports for the parent company " Bauerhin " into Germany , which further distributes it for major companies of the auto industry .

In addition to the construction of halls , expansion of output and employment of new workers, it is also in the plans for this year to establish research and development center that would create employment opportunities for experts in the field of mechanical engineering and electrical engineering .
