Foundation Stone for Construction of HPP Buk Bijela Laid Down – Joint Investment of RS and Serbia worth EUR 220 Million

The prime ministers of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, Radovan Viskovic and Ana Brnabic, have laid down the foundation stone for the Hydro Power Plant Buk Bijela on the Drina, which made the beginning of the construction of this project official.

The preparatory works for the construction of this HPP, which is jointly financed by the power companies of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska in the amount of EUR 220 million, have begun.

Viskovic pointed out that he saw this project as something of major importance for RS and Serbia, because it had been expected for 60 years. He repeated that the construction of the project was exclusively in charge of RS.
