Strategic Impact Assessment Necessary for Exploitation of Gold at “Potaj Cuka – Tisnica” Site

A strategic environmental impact assessment is to be done for the spatial plan of the special purpose area for the exploitation of gold at the “Potaj Cuka – Tisnica” site, according to the decision of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure that was published in the Official Gazette.

The area covered by the spatial plan includes parts of cadaster municipalities Zagubica, Laznica Seliste and Laznica Selo in the territory of Zagubica, as well as parts of cadaster municipalities of Jasika and Leskovo in the territory of Majdanpek.

The deadline period for the preparation of the strategic assessment is 12 months from the date the decision of the preparation of the spatial plan comes into effect.

The funds for the preparation of the strategic environmental impact assessment will be provided by AVALA Resources d.o.o.
