Budget Surplus in First Two Months RSD 7.5 Billion

In the first two months of this year, Serbia realized a budget surplus of around RSD 7.5 billion, stated Finance Minister Sinisa Mali.

– So, we do have the money to pay out the third aid package for the economy and the citizens – Mali said on TV Pink.

He points out that the Serbian economy is doing well and that, despite coronavirus, the state has managed to realize a budget surplus.

– Serbia has avoided the worst scenarios that you’re seeing in some other countries. On the other hand, the mass vaccination, where we are first or second in Europe, is producing results and I expect and invite all citizens to get vaccinated – Mali said.

He adds that it is the only way to beat coronavirus and that, the sooner Serbia is done with it, the sooner it will be able to fully open its economy and go back to a normal life.
