Second round of privatization of shipyards in Croatia from February 15

- Tenders for privatization of six Croatian shipyards will be announced prior to February 15th and they will be open for 60 days. The terms are almost identical as in the first round of privatization - Hina specifies.

On that occasion, the Minister of Economy of Croatia, Đuro Popijač, especially pointed to resolving of the issue of ownership of properties.

- The Government and shipyards agreed on the mechanism of reduction of restructuring costs through compensation for unresolved ownership-legal issues - said Popijač.

Therefore, the state and shipyards settle mutual debts by the agreements on resolving ownership-legal relations.

According to the mandatory terms of the auction, the share of potential buyers of shipyards must be at least 40%.
